Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed a
blessed Christmas season. Every year is
always the same in the lead-up to
Christmas: lots of activity, lots of things to
get done before December 25. Then, for a
few moments on Christmas Eve, we pause
long enough to consider what is the
meaning of Christmas: it’s about the birth
of Jesus, the savior the world needs and we
need. We celebrated his birth together with
two services on Christmas Eve and
Christmas Day and then on the two
Sundays of Christmas. I want to thank our
music team especially for the Christmas
Eve service and the performance which
preceded it.
Now we’re in the season of Epiphany where
we remember Christ came to the be savior
for all people. The Wise Men from the east
represent people from all over who would
one day follow Christ!
