Friends,
Many of you are readers, readers of books with real paper pages in them. (I have Kindle books and audio books, but they are not the same as a real book.) We have a church library with a good selection of Christian books that needs attention to make it more user-friendly. Since making the announcement looking for library volunteers, three people have said yes. I’m looking for a few more people. If you are interested in joining the team, please contact me.

- Women’s Midsummer Mingle is this Saturday from 11 am – 2:30 pm.
- Updating the church directory. Picture taking is available after both services on August 23 and 30. New members, new attendees, those who have escaped the camera lens so far, those who want a new family photo, or even a new photo with your new hairstyle are welcome. - Parish Picnic, September 13. One service only at 9:30 am. Lunch follows. Sign-up sheets are in the narthex.
- Fall Bling Show. Donations of gently used jewelry, purses, scarves, or accessories are greatly appreciated. All proceeds benefit ABQ Leadership Foundation literacy programs to strengthen families in the heart of our community. Please bring all donations to CTK. Place in the donation in the box on the narthex table by August 30. Check out details about the Bling Show, Oct. 16-17, in the leaflet on the narthex table.
