Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

The season of Epiphany is ending soon, and Lent begins. With it are several changes in the services and activities at Christ The King. Here are some of the special events in February:

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, February 17 at 6 pm.

Ash Wednesday Services: February 18, Noon and 7 pm. As we begin the season of Lent, we have the Imposition of Ashes at both services.

Lenten Series starting Wednesday, February 25 @ 6 pm. We’ll have a traditional meal of soup and bread (and salad) followed by a teaching time entitled “Exploring Lent.” This meeting will be weekly on Wednesdays throughout Lent.

Personal Note:
I traveled to Vancouver, BC recently to visit my mother who continues to decline in health. In mid-2025, Mom entered a nursing facility because she needs care 24/7. Please keep her and my family in your prayers.
